Should the Muses be silent when the cannons conduct their thunderous dialogue?

Artists Lyudmila Rashtanova, Eduard Potapenkov, Serhii Kornievskyi, members of the famous creative group A.K.A. (Also Known As), jointly with The National Museum "Kyiv Art Gallery" projects in its own way answer this eternal question.

"Сovering" is an actual project, full of deep symbolism and built on understanding the value of fragile relics from the museum's collection and takes place as part of a long-term project dedicated to its 100th anniversary - "Pearls of the museum: a view from today." Works are creative interpretation by artists of the plots of the most famous paintings from the museum collection, thanks to which the viewer has the opportunity to touch the current museum collection is in a safe place out of human sight.

This project is a dialogue between artists of the distant past and the present, no by chance, the museum halls where it was preserved were chosen as the place for its demonstration historical interiors. Fragments of masterpieces, which with the beginning of full-scale the invasion was moved to storage, got a new life in unexpected, but deeply symbolic material - rescuers thermal blankets used by paramedics to provide emergency care medical assistance in field conditions.
